I just got an answer from Nantahala Village and they are OK of us having it next year!!

So, Now lets decide on the date....

April 11th - 12th :party:

In all honesty, it doesn't matter too much to me. But slightly later in the year (like end of Apr.) would lessen the chances of the Canucks having to leave when there's snow out lol

Although this year we narrowly escaped it hehe.

But whenever - sign me up!!

... Same as DGRR 2008 ... worked GREAT , the weather was spectacular , AFTER Spring Break , BEFORE Mullet Toss , just a good time to be up there ;)

By this you mean that they are willing to take care of our demands? e.g. Pave the road up the mountains?

And as far as when, well you know I'm down for anytime!

Well, They are talking about that.. paving the road and such..
Also, they told me that they will have something by the tennis court as venue stage (bands and such). I guess we just have to wait and see:)

Also, I've found out that they have another property. I'm hoping to go check it out.. either for BOTD (if I don't goto Seven Stock) and let you all know.

What I really liked about Nantahala is the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves.. and hope those who couldn't stay there will book it earlier:)

Hmmmm.... so are you planning a "long distance award" for those of us who may come from the SW US??

I did that one year... I think I gave away $100 worth of gas.. I might do that again, pending sponsorship and number of people who sign up:)

I vote from the 9th to the 12th, this year's event was too short, there were too many things to do and not enough time to do them all. Also we should have a couple of organized runs through the dragon and the skyway.
