The stuff you are looking at is pretty ghetto IMHO, used only by back yard builders & FORD lol
![]() A classy proper solution is simply to go to a metal shop and buy some SS304L sheet, you can ****, shape, form it into anything you require and then weld it if needed. It looks a million bucks and also will last perfectly on a turbo rotary application. I use SS sheet on my car and also made a SS sheet heat shield for the dump pipe as well, SS is an excellent natural insulator and when polished is a great reflector as well, that other Alloy sandwich crap is just that, crap ![]() Its only a personal view of mine and I can tell you mine performs perfectly, its however costly for an OEM that is why you wont see it especially on mass made falcoons and the like, all of the decent cars like Ferrari and so on will use formed SS sheet for heat shielding purposes.
