Default All s5 AFM the same?

I'm wondering if all the flow meters are the same for the s5? I have used N370 on NA and turbo and the NA ones on both also. My AFM is now sticking enough to where its useless, and I'm in need of another. So instead of over paying for another N370 one, I'm thinking that all the other S5 ones will do just the same..... Unless there actually is a difference in them???

A turbo AFM is supposed to be an N370. I would not risk using an N350. I am sure there is a difference for a reason.

what i dont want to do is guess. I have looked at them and they look the same. And all they do is measure air flow. I dont really see how they would be different. But i would like to be sure...

Yes, they are visually identical, except for the OE identification number.

That is the tricky part. They do not actually 'measure air flow' the air moving thought it pushes on the plunger, which in turn changes voltage/resistance values. The ECU then interpolates those values and adjusts fuel mixtures accordingly, along with the referencing the Boost/MAP sensor.

So if using an N350 AFM, the value presented to the ECU might not be the same level as the N370 AFM, and therefore I would think would cause a lean condition.

Where is REted when you actually need him????

The dimensions are identical.
The spring rates are different internally.
You should be able to tell the difference pressing the "plunger" in on both.
