My thought is that the increase in temperature would actually be registered as a dT/dt (change in temperature with respect to time). Meaning you'd come up to temp quicker, but that probably comes out in the wash with the thermocouples. Dunno though.

I know i've been trying to explain what I mean for a few posts now but it's hard to make sense and keep it simple without writing a huge article on it.
