I had no issues... when i bought it it was off a "race" only car so it was tuned for wide open only.. im running 40mm chokes so down low its a lil less but after 3.5 to 4k it screams ( i have 38mm chokes but i like it wheres it at and i havnt dynod it to see where im making my power to justify changing them)...
From a roll its pretty quick. i tossed in different idle jets, smaller main jets and it runs great (havnt changed air bleeds since no wideband ). it was easy for me to tune. i did it all by smell and feel. not the best option but since it doesnt need to go much longer i wont wideband it.. it doesnt smell like gas and no misses so im happy.. transition is real good from idle to main circuit (i dont spend much in teh idle circuit though im usually always above 3k). it has its days just like any carb but i chirp 1-3 all day long. i was very impressed by it. It starts real easy, 2 pumps and turn key i dont even have to use the choke and ive driven it on pretty cold days. I would not consider it a waste of money.

Low impedance has rode in it he'll tell you how it pulls

you just made me want to go with a side draft setup. ill get it from rotary shack, since he will boost prep it and help me with the jets ect, if i tell him my whole setup. i dont want to post prices since you have to email him for them, but at first i thought it was a to much for me,since iam a broke 22 year old. but it will be cheaper then racing beat holley setup.
i know a few people who drag race on teams and i asked them to find out where to send the holley to get set up for boost. as it turns out id be spending much much more for the racing beat setup if i did that. that and i guess the O.E.R carbs are spose(sp?) to be much easier to tune.

o yeah my sa has a 4 spoke steering wheel dont know if its stock or not.

Well i posted an article on teh boards on how to boost prep a holley yourself http://www.rotarycarclub.com/showthr...st+prep+holley

My set up is a Mazdatrix setup... It screams. The OER's i guess are supposed to be better cuz they built off of the weber design and fixed some inadequacies .. i guess there progression from idle to main circuit is supposed to be better(from what ive read/ been told). Ill try to get some video of a 1st-third gear pull and just a third gear pull for ya... I can keep up/beat NA fc's its kind fun when they dont expect it lol

lol i found that link before. when i searched on google it seemed every car site had that link posted some where. i just dont think i could do it my self. ill talk to a few people i know who are in to carbs and see if they could do it for me.

one thing ive been trying to figure out is what cfm carb i would need ect. i was told that i could buy the racing beat kit run it na for a while take it off boost prep it and i would be fine minus retuning it a bit. the same person told me i wouldnt even have to rejet it which i wasnt sure if he was talking out of his ass or not.
