Not sure if this is the right way, but this is the way I did my 1st B-port. It's worked for me so far.
Free-hand.

This motor is actually the result of 2 separate porting projects. The bridges are the latest addition.

IIRC I used a 1/8" drill bit, so I was being very cautious. But Ive heard you can use a 3/16" drill bit?

There are some pictures of what others have done on google, if you type in: Rotary Bridgeport, Bridgeport 6 Port, etc. To give you some idea's.

here is my bridge if this is still of interest...just built it about a year ago...runs great! took it to deals gap this past april. its a half bridge on the primarys of the secondary ports, the 5th and 6th are still functional with the aid of RB true dual exhaust. using turbo injectors and tuning with the Rtek 2.1...i do wish that i has used a turbo ecu instead of the s4 na due to lack of a cranking map and fuel correction RPM is limited with the NA ecu

Very clean looking. Both the porting and the engine.

That's beautiful, mfisher12.

Btw: Little history on mine:

1. 1st time I built my b-port motor it was an S4 na with stock ecu (thats right, got it running on stock ecu!), it got cancer in the form of a rusted through coolant seal track.
2. As of Oct '12 I rebuilt it bigger and better, with addition of: ported primary ports, bigger ported exhaust ports, 9.7 comp rotors, Haltek E6K, 720cc secondarys, & RB header to complete the RB exhaust system.
3. I have over a thousand miles on the motor, I took it to dgrr'13, I haven't been driving it much since, I try to get it some exercise now & then. Still runs.

This fall I want to try driving it more often, I was thinking of getting into drifting, need to swap the diff 1st & get some used tires for the extra wheels I have.

Let's get the facts straight...

I never said it WASN'T GOING TO WORK.
I claimed it wasn't an EFFICIENT SET-UP.

How you define "wouldn't / would work" might not be the same as someone else's definition of the same...
I hear tons of cars...everyday...driving around that sound like shit.
Sure, they will drive up and down the street...
Hell, they might even do a sub-10 second 0-60mph run...
These things are:
1) misifiring
2) eating a lot more gasoline than it should
3) could make more power if tuned correctly
I do not consider cars like these that are driving on the street as being classified as "they work."
I consider them POORLY TUNED and possibly in need of a tune-up.

Put a standalone EMS on it, and I'll put money it'll run faster, quicker, and better than your current stock ECU set-up...
