When you hit a bump, your ass end sways a bit. the struts are new. So i ruled them out. Trying to pin point without spending money replacing EVERYTHING, even though i should anyway.

Put the car up on jack stands and take a pry bar to all the links and see which ones are deflecting side to side more than they should.

Check the sway bar. S5's have plastic end links and they are prone to breaking under stress.

Check anyways? . If the swaybar isn't working properly it will result in a loss of traction, which equals the rear end coming out easier.
