Default Falcore

Well that's what i named him, yeah my car is a him. When i was going to buy the car most of my friends and family told me not to. So why not name it after a luck dragon. Anyways here's what it's gone through so far.

I bought it in April of 05 and my aim was for 400hp by 2011. It is now 2011 and i'm close (I think) but not quite there.

When i first got him home

I think i had it a full 2 days before i was already taking it apart Koyo rad install

5th gear sycro and full tranny rebuild.

There's my problem

Then i went to a Pettit ECU and underdrive Waterpump pully and Alt pully

Battery relocation

FMIC and AVC-R install

Had to do some cutting to get the FMIC to fit

Supra TT fuel pump

HKS intakes and B&M short shifter

Had to polish the intakes....cuz that's important right

B&M

Dropped a few lbs with an HKS carbon TI exhaust

Then i went with Whiteline/noltec rear diff bushings

Old ones cracked and leaking crap

Just before i started taking everything apart for Haltech platnum 1000, Escalade coils, AEM wideband, 99spec twins

My buddy that was helping me with my haltech was also building a 1.5jz....lube that shaft

So many wires

Old on left new on right

Fins on old turbo

fins on new turbo

Done

Was getting some boost creep after midpipe install so i had to pull the turbos and port/grind out metal behind the WG flaper

Before

After

I sprayed it pink so i could see how much i could take out and PINK MEENS DANGER!

I forgot to take an after pic

Last thing i did was a new gauge for Water temp, Oil temp, Oil pres

Again with the wires

Done. Remote is for Peak recal, color change, C to F, set alams and so forth

Clean piston

Steal braded brake lines

I'm taking the calipers to be powder coated then everything will go back together.

powder coater Calipers

Fuel system is Rx7stores Ultimate fuel system. 850primarys and 1600secondarys Aeromotive FPR.

Injetor Rehab blueprint

Meth system, i'm hopping to start this on the 6th

Since heat is the enemy double so in a rotary i heat insulated the underside of the UIM. As things go for time consumption Polishing is #1 this takes a close 2nd.

Clean the ever living snot out of the UIM get every last piece of grease i can possibly scrub off of it

Start application

Finish

The Fuel system took me a while. I spent to much time cleaning.

Switched to MSD coils for primarys and Escalade coils for secondarys

Got a bracket made for the coils and reloomed them up

I hate....HATE wiring fuuuuuu

And my aluminum door handles came in. The FD's stock plastic door handles suck big floppy donkey dick. Over time they'll warp or break. My driver side handle is warped and wont push the pin far enough down to open the door.

Bought from dudemaaan on this forum.

RE hood struts

Ended up changing the fuel system around. I was told hooking the feed up to the secondary rail was better so that's the way i went. If you have any suggestions let me know.

Pump mounted

Meth line i wrapped it since braided lines have a tendency to eat through things

So i first tried to put the novel in the black coupler i had only problem is it's to thick and i couldn't thread on the backing to seal the coupler

So i had to use an old blue coupler i had that's a bit smaller i'm sure it will work right but i need to find something else. You can see the silver washer looking thing on the blue i couldn't get that piece on the black coupler

Fixed

Pressure light Red when building Green when on

Low level light

Fuse block for pump

Main power and main ground just left to run and a retune yaaa

My first Dyno season was fun but my car was being a POS. First off i drove all the way to Palm springs on 1 rotor. Yeah i screwed up some wiring on my coils so 1 rotor was not working. Lets just say it was 1 of the most painful drives i have ever made. I felt like a Top Gear presenter, you know when they screw up and cars are all backed up behind them. Yeah that was me Laughing

I made it to my buddy's house at like 11:45 we got the coil issue figured out by like 130 ish and did some street tuning. During our street tune i'm sitting passenger seat. Glenn's (my friend) is doing like 100 and i see a little bunny come bounding out of the desert. I calmly say "Bunny" it runs out and runs smack into the side of my car Glenn barely swerved which i thanked him for, plow that stupid bunny don't spin us out into the desert at 100mph. I start laughing my ass off we go down and come back doing another pull and the bunny was gone. The fucker lived after running smack into the side of my car. We didn't get done tell like 3:00am. I woke up at like 530am and couldn't go back to sleep. We ended up leaving for the Dyno at like 730.

Dyno session didn't pan out though my car was being a little bitch. The ECU kept disconnecting from the laptop as soon as they started going. It was pulling hard friday night when we were street tuning it. I'm really not sure what's wrong with it. Here is the best video of my car from Saturday.

FIRE

We tried for about an hour and a half to get it to act like it's suppose to and it never did. The best pull i got was a 203hp at 6k rpm's Crying or Very sad The dyno graph was very sergey and all over the place. Hopefully i'll have it figured out by next month and do another dyno season.

Got myself a new used clutch still haven't mounted it yet.

Finally got a trans cover. My car had been missing it since i bought it found it on ebay for 20$

Also did some work on the interior lights. For some reason Mazda thought black was a good color for reflecting light inside the car. So i took them apart and painted them and put in an LED bulb holly crap it's like day time in my car now.
