Yeah, no. FRP is perfectly acceptable for me. I actually the shine front nose and while it was less than prefect ( I bought it used) it was fairly wasy to work strait, and add a little FG to the ducts to line up better with my oil-coolers.

2. The online store for the Garage Kagotani site is down so I can't tell you the exact price at current exchange rate but I do know it should be less than 700. Tom (Circuit Theory on the forums) and RHDJapan can get them.

Cool, thanks. I think I'll wait and see what happens with Shine first as i actually like the Panspeed hood better. I like the idea of a vent over the turbines, although I wish it was symetrical on the other side, and the fact that the main vent is also symetrical.

Kill all the fanbois and let the people who actually know something about these hoods be made aware

Granted you could probably get a used one to your door at about this same price, it A: isn't new, B: might not be in the best condition, and C: could take you months, maybe even years, to even find one.

Very true, although $1,700 is a tough nut to swallow for a body part. Especially on that I'll instantly be taking a DA to and then glassing the shit out of it...... just that much more reason I'm thinking about building my own. If I ruin a $400 hood, I wouldn't be nearly as pissed off.

Awesome man. I'm very interested, I'd out a deposit down, I'd be number 10 just to get it done for $5-600 each. We'll see what happens. It's also a timing thing. I kinda need it now...... or in two weeks actually.
