I do believe you're going to need some flares with that.
You'll probably need a wider rear axle to bring the back tires out to the same track width too.
Before you move the engine, put it on some scales to check your weight balance. The FCs had it so far back to give them a 50/50 weight distribution. I'd bet it probably helps an RX-2 in the same way.
