single turbo conversion

well the time is rapidly approaching for me to tear into the car and go from basically stock to total single turbo. i have a few questions that im unsure of right now.

i plan on doing a full emissions removal and AWS removal but want to be able to keep the rock solid idle i have always had. so question one is do i need to keep anything beside the BAC valve? or am i totally off on that? keep in mind the car still has PS and A/C.

when installing the turbo itself (35R) i have seen/heard of people "clocking" it to the side for various reasons. do i need to to do this for the life of the turbo? does it give better drainage for the oil? i have never been able to get a rock solid answer on this subject.

i guess thats all the questions i have for now. thanks in advance for the answers, and please dont post if you are just guessing, thanks!!

There are two clockings. The CHRA should be clocked for best oil flow (top to bottom) if posible but it does not have to be pure verticle. If the fittings for oil or water have clearance problems, just rotate a little. But I would not have the oil lines off more than 45 degrees from vertical.

Clock the compressor housing for best fit of you pipes.

yeah, i knew about the compressor housing, but thanks for the answer. andybody else know the other?

Go back and reread my post as your "reply" implies that you skiped over the CHRA clocking.
I deleted your quote so that it would not distract you.

i got the whole thing. when i say the "other," i meant the other question i asked about my idle. thanks, i guess my response was hazy. it was late! lol

By the time you get your new turbo and downpipe on with no emissions i wouldnt count on a perfect idle. might as well just get a large streetport so you have an excuse as to why its kinda off.
