Which Clutch?

Hey guys, I wanted to get your oppinions. I have a S4 13bt in my GSL-SE. I have the motor out to rebuild and have decided to replace my clutch. It has only been in there for a few thousand miles, but it is an XTD 6-puck ebay special, kinda noisy, and pretty worn. What clutch would you guys recommend. I am running around 250hp and drag race alot running DRs. I want to something that will hold up, but also be good on the street and not be too expensive. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance:001_005:

Act stage 2 clutch.

Thanks Flooder. I will look into that clutch. The only thing I hate about ACT is the price :(

Centerforce dual friction

I'm running an ACT heavy duty pressure plate, and street/strip clutch.

Pedal is slightly heavier then stock, but engagement is nearly the same.

IMHO, the ***ONLY**** clutch to run for everything under 500whp. Drive's like stock, holds amazing.

Act

ACT is really good stuff though, it's worth the price in my opinion.

i have had both act and centerfoce duel friction. both were great clutches. for your power levels a centerforce will hold up great! but like i said, both are good. i am actually putting an ACT in my FD this weekend! good luck

ACT is the standard.
Think of it as an investment.
Almost everything else is inferior.

If the price really is holding you back, check out the For Sale section or eBay.
I get good deals looking for used ACT clutches and parts if you search for them.
If you looking for used parts, insist on pictures.
I picked up a brand new organic clutch disc for under $100.
I just picked up a used HD PP + organic disc for $150.
There's a guy selling a brand new HD PP + 6-puck for $150 locally.
