Yay! It runs again, and soooo much work has been done!

A little synopsis for you guys, I broke the rear u-joint and driveshaft drag racing three weeks ago. Well it's all back together and then some! I've been getting it ready for SCCA Solo II Racing (autocross) :driving:

For the grenaded driveline, I now have an early (79-82) driveshaft with new serviceable Spicer u-joints with corresponding early 3rd member flange (the 83-85's have a non-serviceable driveshaft and different rear flange). The 3rd member and transmission both got drained and filled with new 75W90 Royal Purple Gear Oil. Shifting improved by a LOT!

As for the rest of the car? Well, I just got done installing the heavily-bolstered and taller back 2nd Gen (FC) seats. Clutch fluid has been flushed, and all other fluids topped off.

The autocross is the 20th and I still have to do the front brakes and possibly a colling system redux. I have a set of triple gauges I'd like to get in there too. We'll see!

Pics later, I'm going on a "test drive".

btw autox- you going to salem or PIR?
i'll be doing salem (WMC), as its 15 bucks cheaper and doesnt require pre reg like PCA.
maybe i'll see ya there?

PIR. It's $15 less gas to only drive to PIR instead of Salem!

PCA has an entry limit, and porshces get priority. there is a risk that they'll be at full capacity if you dont preregister. you might wanna do that.

Preregistered a week ago ;)
