Check it in what way?
If you are wanting to check and see if it is still working then you will need a muti meter and go from there... but i will wait to here the first answer.

oh sorry it is a 86 n/a. im not getting any spark and i want to make sure its sending out the right signals
Well crap i was hoping that you would say it was a 93 or something haha. I am not to sure how to go about checking that on your car.
Have you recently rebuilt it, or was it running and then just quit. Because one thing to look out for is if that main pully is bent in any way it will not read right...

well if you can locate a diagnosis check the error code for the CAS is "01". There is a write up to make your own checker somewhere. I think on FC3S Pro or Team FC3S or something. But there is no fail safe function for the CAS. If it goes, it goes.
See the 04a fuel and emissions control PDF
check the Engine "05" Electrical Systems PDF which covers the coils as well.
