The factory coils are going to be your best option unless you are doing some crazy turbo mod. Hell they are so good, it is cheap mod for the third gen guys to "upgrade" to the stock second gen coils.

The MSD coils cannot be fired directly from the stock ECU.
If you want to use the MSD coils (or almost any aftermarket coil), you need to keep the stock ignitors or wire in an (aftermarket) ignitor in between the coil and the stock ECU.

The FD is easier to do this since the ignitor (pack) is remote of the coils themselves.
The FC has them built into the coil packs.

With that said, JL1RX7 is right: the stock FC coils are plenty powerful for most applications.
Why do you want them to replace them with the MSD coils?

You can run a single MSD 6A to the stock leading coils, which will give you the most difference.
Install instructions are on my website.

Agreed. I had the setup on my car for a few years.
