so it did the cold start up then when it came down it just died...
what is the cars idel set at?
what degree is it outside?
will it start back up?
check for vac leaks, leaky injectors, spark plug condition
just a few idea.

its not a stumble out die its a rev up to 3000 (by my foot since i have no cold start) and then the tach just dies and you hear the engine whine down.

i plan on checking out the AFM as well. I am at work at the moment but i gives me something to do tonight.
Im just worried i may have a break in the wiring harness for the AFM

being a turbo car.. I just wonder if it is a coupler that has come loose and giving you a vac leak.. if thats the case and the leak is big enough it wont idle at all.

and.......carbon killed the motor....
went to crank it and it spun as free as could be. Pulled the plugs and things are real low on compression. (lots of weak puffs, one good puff).
soo....thats that.
but on the brightside, i might be moving into a house soon!

let some atf sit in that biotch overnight.
also try jumpering the plug by the AFM for the fuel pump power.
