I currently have a 86 NA and am considering the possibility picking up an 88 vert shell. My plan is just to swap all the stuff over from my hatch into the vert and hopefully call it a day. Is everything pretty much plug-and-play or should i expect some fab work be done?
Not sure if it matters but I'm already running a MegaSquirt so engine harness won't be an issue at all but is there anything else i need to be prepared for?

I would think the only issue may be the injectors. If I recall correctly 88 was split year, one group being hi-impedance, other being low-impedance. Other than that I wouldn't think you should have any issues.

Shouldn't have any issues then hopefully. I'm swapping engine/trans/suspension/ecu from my hatch into it so everything will still all match up. I just didn't know if any of the mounts were different.

The 'vert has a few more braces to help the chassis sans roof but everything will swap right over. The only potential issue is auto vs manual. The tranny mounts welded to the chassis are in different locations
