I've seen pics of duckbills on verts. In fact I own a duckbill that a company is making a mold of so they can sell carbon fiber duckbills.
I haven't ever mounted it on the vert and am waiting till the mold is done to decide whether I want one on my car or not.
What I'm curious about is who has mounted any of the OEM coupe wings/spoilers on verts. I'm not at all familiar with coupes and where the mounting screws are located. Given that info what I'm thinking would work is mount it and cut the wing to allow the trunk to open.
I can't be the first person to think of this...anyone have pics of it completed?

At SSXII there was an orange vert with a TII wing with cutouts for the trunk to open I think his name was T2Vert.

I haven't see any wings on verts that I thought looked good as of yet. Something low that could roll of the the trunk might look fine.

Thanks, I'll do some searching for him and the car.

I tend to agree Dad. The only wing I've liked so far is the Racing Beat which was made for verts. There's only one known in existence on a vert of a 7club member. I love that wing and even contacted RB trying to get them to re-release it. The response I got back from them was that even when our cars were new that wing didn't sell well. He guessed that they only sold 200 or so of them.. He went on to say that the mold for that wing is long gone.

Same wing. A few years ago I sent this car's owner a PM. He bought his wing from the owner of the pic above.

I'm not sure if I like the duckbill on verts. My duckbill was a junkyard find and I've been iffy enough about it that I haven't wanted to put holes in my car to try it out.

I've got a WingsWest wing, fairly low, not real rice looking. I haven't put it on yet due to time considerations, but what I did do is obtain another trunk lid so when I punch holes through one, I still have the original to put back in place.
They've got a picture of it on their website, but its set back pretty far. I think it can be done better...

I agree that the wingswest one is set too far back. I'd love to see pics once you get it mounted. And I've considered picking up a spare trunk lid to experiment with. Try different wings out and use the spare lid as a trial and error throw-away.
