The baffle's purpose is to cut the wave as it leaves the port, but wouldn't the turbine wheel do the same thing? With a turbo in the way, I would assume that the difference between baffles and no baffles would be pretty much unnoticeable. My guess is that if there is a difference, it would be when the wastegate is open as there isn't a turbine wheel in the way.
