i was looking to run 8-10 psi. i was told 10 psi with that turbo would make 300 hp which i dont fully believe.
iam not looking to make insane power, since this is my daily driver during the summer. the reason i went with this turbo is i got it dirt cheap, cheaper then i could get a TII turbo and i would not have to deal with making a adapter plate for its manifold.
i figured i all ready have to make some thing to mount a turbo mani on my motor 12a,if i went with a TII manifold. i could just start from scratch and build a custom one to have the turbo in a better spot.
ill save my self a lot of work this way since i wont have to buy a TII mani, make a adapter plate. then machine my stock intake, then weld it shut again so the turbo will clear it like others have done. i plan to run the stock carb turbo prepped at frist then when i have money get a new intake carb.
