the universal ones seem to be priced roughly around where the XR-1s are. so thanks, Rice. i don't know what shipping from Australia will be since I've never done that before, but i will keep them as an option since i really only want to do my exhaust once and be done with it.

i will look into gathering more info on XR-1 failures/reliability because so far, aside from a few people saying they thought they were a bit too loud, this is the first time I've heard of anyone saying they're garbage.

i remember looking at Burns Stainless mufflers maybe two or three years ago and to be honest, the prices scared me. it hasn't changed.
