7dust Becoming Irregular Here Join Date: Nov 2012 Posts: 12 Rep Power: 0	Its because the FD has a three speed fan. Depending on how many fan "triggers" are activated, fan speed is determined. The water thermoswitch, AC switch, plus the PFC low and high speed fan settings all count as one speed trigger (up to a total of three for high speed).
