FS: Msd Dis-4 Plus Ignition Amp & Jacobs Accuvolt Fr1500w: $300 each shipped
Electronics part out! I have a MSD DOS-4 Ignition amp unit and a Jacobs Accuvolt that were installed on my 20B. To read my saga, go here: http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...ead.php?t=6462
Anyway, the car is close to being completed (finally) and the MSD Ignition amp and Jacobs Accuvolt unit are no longer needed so they're now up for sale. The units were installed in my driver's side bin so they've been kept out of the elements and are nearly new. The car has not made it back on the road so the units only have break in and tuning miles (under 2,000) on them. I bought the units from JEGS for $558.99 per unit (Per my JEGS order: Distributorless Ignition 4-Channel Part Number # 121-62153). Asking $300 per unit shipped in the US. Each unit comes with the wiring harness and a custom Gotham Racing mounting bracket. Per the JEGS website: http://www.jegs.com/i/MSD/121/62152/10002/-1 "Maximize your vehicle's distributorless ignition system with MSD's powerful ignition controls; the MSD DIS-2 and DIS-4. These Ignition Controls feature Multi-Channel capability, and can deliver up to 480 volts to the primary side of most DIS type dual output coils. Using channels, the MSD Digital DIS-2 is designed for all 4-cylinder applications using 2 coils, while the DIS-4 can be used on all 6 and 8-cylinder engines with three or four coils." One unit will run 4 coils. Pics: |

Jacobs Accuvolt 1500Fr1500W
In addition to the MSD unit, I also have a Jacobs Accuvolt FR1500W unit for sale. $300 shipped in the US. Unit sells for about $600 new. Same situation with the Jacobs unit as the MSD ignition amp. The Jacobs unit was installed in my rear passenger bin so it was also protected from the elements.
The Jacobs Accuvolt supplies a constant level/supply of power to your car's electrical components. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku "These Accu Volt power regulators provide a constant, steady stream of power to your vehicle's electrical system. If you are trying to power high-drain items such as stereo systems, on-board computers, GPS navigation receivers, communication equipment, or other electrical devices, you may want to put one of these in your ride. By supplying between 50 and 1500 watts across an adjustable range of 13.5 to 16.25 V, your electronics will always be running at peak efficiency. These units eliminate spikes, dips, and noise, even if the electrical system should drop as low as 9.5 V." Pics: |
