969 Bertone Mazda Luce RX87. Its in original unrestored condition apart from a partial repaint in the early 80's. It has a 13A engine with 87000 kms on the clock. These were Mazda's flagship in Japan back in 1969. I dont plan to modify it but one day when I have enough coin I would like to give it a full restoration.

It was lowered as you can see in the pics but its now back to its original height.

Lowered Height.

These more recent pics below are at original height.

626 is brilliant-

but I must bow to an immaculate (and thankfully, unmolested) example of the rarest production mazda rotary coupe in the world, the R130 Luce RX87.

I had to go 626. I said I would and I'm I keep my word, and its a masterpiece for sure, lol...

HOWEVER - if that Luce doesnt win this one, it needs to be nominated again in a "class rotary" month and I'll definitely be down.

So many great cars this month. The cover of RCC's website will look soo much nicer in a few weeks
