Default starting on a diffrerent manifold and turbo for the FB!

Well, the track day was pretty successful at the import face off, but I wasn't really happy with the timeslips. Most of it was driver related but the MPH was a little down for my taste. So this is what I have to do to the car to make it better.

1. T67 turbocharger
2. Stainless turbo manifold
3. Custom down pipe
4. Methenol injection
5. ET streets
6. adjustable rear shocks
7. custom upper intake manifold and Ford Throttlebody
8. clean up tune

I would be happy with 500 RWHP! Hopefully somewhere there is 60 more RWHP...

haha. I am not coming for you lol. Thats a big turbo my friend. So you get that engine all tuned all nice and now you change it up and have to retune?

I got the rear shocks mounted today. The car has some movement now! I need to find some good coil overs for the front to get it to air a little bit.

Did you think about adding velocity stacks to the beginning of the runners? I have heard some good things about those when used in conjunction with what looks to be a surge tank.

Also, looks sick as hell.

Just an update on that car. It made 485 RWHP and 370 RWTQ at 22 psi. Maxed out the intercooler. I made 1 more run and cracked a seal. 80/30/30 compression on the rear rotor. Anyway, ran it at the track the next weekend b/c the car still runs great, but the vacume is down slightly (14") was 16". Ran 11.21 at 126.x on ET streets with a low compression #2 rotor on 20 psi of boost. I think the MPH on regular drag radials would be around 130. The last tune with a good engine the best I trapped was 122 on ET streets and it trapped 125 on the BFG's on the same tune and boost level.

So now I am replacing the NPR intercooler with a liquid/air intercooler. And hopefully the rotor housing isn't torn up when I get the engine apart. The engine still runs great, just low on some compression .

couple pics of the intercooler. I have to finess some of the pipes and finish welding up the tubes. But this gives you an idea of what it will look like on the car. It still needs some brackets to hold it up as well. I have to also fab up a merge pipe to help the "in" pipe not favor one side of the intercooler core. A few good things about this is zero pressure drop, hardly any piping, and only 2 couplers!
