help what is this
Well im working on the 6floor port turbo swap, got the intakes on I have all the emissions removed exempt the bac. I plugged the afm in but do not it's not plumbed, I do not have the turbo in yet should the car start with just the throttle body elbow on and the afm sitting there?
I went to put in the turbo ecu in and found this wired in three wires spliced into the harness not soldered or tapped just cut and twisted together and taped. WTF is it could t his be why its not starting. |

I have Ultra power in me.

can you tell what pins on the harness it is spliced with? I am not sure what that is what the more info you have the better. is the intake air going thru the afm and the TB or are they just hooked up.

Everything is just hooked up my plan was to fix all the electrical issues and bad splices get the intakes on and start the car then take it to my buddies shop and get the turbo half bolted on the car. I will try to get the pin number on the wire the one wire got spliced then there is a black wire that was just hanging there. I have looked at a couple of fcd diagrams and this does not look like one so im very confused

Ok I got some time this morning after a quick brake job on a jeep. I took the chip/module whatever it is off and carefully pealed the yellow film off and took a pic I also took a pic of where it was spliced on the harness the grey wire went to the ecu while the white one went to the rest of the harness the black wire im thinking was a ground was by my finger on the blue tape on black wire.

Found my fsm wires go to 3g which is a ground and 3b which is for the starter switch, I have no idea what it is I looked for a safety switch by the brakes or clutch thinking it could be a remote starter but no such luck anyone got any ideas?

Nope could never figure it out, made no sense how it was wired, I just soldered the wire together and put heat shrink around it left it be, im now assembling a streetported t2 irons with 9.4 irons engine for the the car I tracked down a t2 ecu, afm, boost sensor so my current situation says I may get get rid of the car when its put together.
