Back for the 7th time!!! .WHiV 7 May 16, 17, 18, 2014 SUNCOAST HOTEL AND CASINO: 9090 ALTA DRIVE, LAS VEGAS, NV SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FRIDAY MAY 16TH EARLY REGISTRATION: WHEN: 3PM UNTIL 7PM WHERE: MARQUEE PARKING LOT OF THE SUNCOAST HOTEL & CASINO (BY THE BIG SIGN) If your planning on partying on Friday evening, it may be a good idea to get your car registered early as the registration time on Saturday will be limited. There will be several categories; 1st Gen 7, 2nd Gen 7, 3rd Gen 7, Stock 8, Modified 8, Old School (including Repus), Transplant Award (for the vehicle improved by having a wankel) and last but not least The Iron Butt Award for the person who drove their rotary powered vehicle the farthest to get to WHiV7 All registered rotary powered vehicles will be eligible for trophies. CARS AND TRAILERS CAN BE LEFT IN THE LOT OVERNIGHT - SECURITY WILL KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE AREA FRIDAY EVENING PARTY: WHEN: 8PM TO MIDNIGHT WHERE: THE FIFTH FLOOR OF THE HOTEL, AT THE WEST END OF THE HALL BYOB ON ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. HORDERVES, CHIPS, NUTS AND DIP PROVIDED BY WHiV7 RAFFLE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE AND THE PARTY SATURDAY MAY 17th CAR SHOW REGISTRATION WHEN: 7AM UNTIL 9AM ONLY JUDGING WHEN: UNTIL 11AM ANNUAL CRUISE: THE CRUISE WILL START AT 12 NOON AND SHOULD LAST UNTIL 3PM. YOU WILL BE SUPPLIED MAPS OF THE ROUTE AND THE CRUISE WILL BE LEAD BY A MEMBER OF SIN CITY ROTARY AND WILL START IN THE MARQUEE LOT OF THE SUNCOAST AND RETURN TO THE SAME LOT. RAFFLE AND TROPHY AWARDS: THE RAFFLE WILL BEGIN AT 4PM AND LAST UNTIL THE LAST ITEM IS GIVEN OUT. AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE RAFFLE, THE TROPHY WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AND THE TROPHIES AWARDED. SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY: THERE WILL BE A SATURDAY NIGHT GET TOGETHER IN THE SUITE AT THE SUNCOAST. ALL ATTENDEES ARE INVITED AND WILL START AT 8PM AND WILL END AT 11:59PM. WHiV7 WILL FURNISH HORDERVES, CHIPS, DIPS, ETC. BUT THIS IS A BYOB AFFAIR FOOD IS AVAILABLE 24/7 IN THE HOTEL RESTAURANTS SUNDAY MAY 18th: SCENIC CRUISE A SHORT SCENIC CRUISE WILL LEAVE SUNCOAST MARQUEE PARKING LOT AT 11AM. DETAILS OF THE CRUISE WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE MEET AND MAPS GIVEN OUT ANNUAL BARBECUE: LOCATION TBA ALL THE NORMAL FOOD AS IN PAST YEARS WILL BE AVAILABLE SPECIAL RATES FOR THIS WEEKEND
$42.00 Sunday through Thursday nights (just in case you have any early arrivals or later departures) $69.00 Friday and Saturday nights Rates quoted are net per room, per night, for single or double occupancy. A golf view request is an additional $15.00 nightly. Triple occupancy will be surcharged an additional $20.00 per room, per night. Please be advised that all rates quoted are net, per room, per night, allowing for single or double occupancy. (Children age fifteen and under, in the same room with parents in existing bedding, are free.) Clark County room tax, currently 12%, is required. This tax is subject to increase without prior notice. The Suncoast has a mandatory $9.99 plus tax (currently at 12%) per room, per day Resort Fee; benefits include access to the 24-hour fitness center, Wi-Fi in your guest room, self-parking, in-room safe, in-room refrigerator, single serve coffee brewers, scheduled airport shuttle service (reservations are required), unlimited toll free and local telephone calls, wake up service and paging. There is a fwy just a couple of blocks away that will take you down town or to the strip. If you don't want to drive, there is a shuttle bus that will take you to the strip or downtown and back again. There are three different Hotel/Casinos in the area and you are right in the locals "restaurant row" area. The SUNCOAST hotel offers several good choices for food. Room pricing is a little higher than the last two years but wait until you see the rooms. And as usual they'll be the swag!! ...... get ya self some!! and help us make sure there is a WHiV8 :nod:

Wait, are you saying they only got back to you? I thought you meant they were coming. Yeah I'm from CO but I don't know too many folks in Denver, and I haven't talked to the local guys in a while since I've been working on mine (and just lost fuel pressure today on my way to an event and had to get towed 80+ miles home ), plus there are rotary folks elsewhere in the state but I have no idea who or where lol.
