Central Virginia Mazda Club - Lynchburg and Surrounding
So far we've collected 30+ members on an email list. There have been four official meets so far this year. Members come from Charlottesville, Richmond, Waynesboro, Roanoke, Danville.... All Mazda's welcome. No dues (yet!), no racing & hot rodding (yet!). Just some nice cruises through the mountains and some new friendships gained.

When was that meet? I'd join you all - but its so darn far, lol... I plan to move in the spring though and I might be relocating slightly south (near spotsylvania county) so I would only be 2-3 hours from you all instead of 3-4, lol....

Sounds nice - we never did do our skyline drive like we wanted to, by now I'm sure most the leaves have changed or will be changed by the time I get up there!
Do you have a mileage limit on joining you guys... I think I'm something like 100+ miles from cville even. Its 76 miles to my parents in Culpeper alone! Whens the next drive though? I am getting the 8 inspected, putting winter tires on, new brake pads, lines, and rotors too so she'll be good by the end of this month... |

I may have to join in with you all as well Jon. I did Skyline Drive with my fiance about 2-3 weeks ago and it was great. Its is only about 20 minutes from me as I get on it at Thorton Gap which is like mile 32 or something like that in Sperryville.
I think the Parkway is about 2-3 hours from me. Hell, lets just go to the Dragon. I got my suspension sorted out now and Bill has a new end link so maybe he can keep up this time.

It's about time for you guys to make it to VIR! The Charity Drive is coming up on the 14th! Some of the members will be driving down for that. Tough that it's on a Friday though.
...as for joining the club. No mileage limit at all. This past meet we had a member drive down from Straussburg! Sign up on the CVMC website and I'll keep you posted through email. ...I'm all for the Dragon trip again too! |

I actually just REDID my endlink again. Put some good 'ol locktite on it. I kept working it lose, lol.
I also have the RB front sway. Next up is to put new slotted rotors on, hawk HPS front pads, ProjectU rear pads, SS brake lines, flush brake fluid and finally throw some new tires on her (winter tires, lol). I'm looking at the NASA Winter Series right now - starts Nov 23rd I think.. if I can get all the stuff by then, I'm down for it - otherwise, I'll join up with you guys and do some spirited Skyline drives! |

Side note - I see you changed the website... not throwing Jon under the bus, but him and I are both IT Web "gurus" if it were. I'd be happy to help if you have questions or need a little work done to the site...

That's good to know because a web "guru" I am not! It's a pretty simple Godaddy program for idiots. At present it's free too so all the frills are not there. Maybe if I can get the local dealership to sponsor and pay for the site I'll bump it up to something fancy, then I'll surely call you.

The Charity Drive @ VIR was a blast as usual. A bit on the wet side, but it's always fun to drive on this track. All of you that live anywhere near Danville should put this on your calendar next year.

Nice pics! Right click... save. It was worth every penny (penny hell!!!) I spent to get out there especially in the rain. I've been able to practice on dry pavement quite a bit but learning to control (ok, so we were playing ) a car in the rain was fun!
