Default BNR's "Project Syclone Replacement"

I bought a 1976 Mazda REPU! It is in fair condition, but needs paint and a little body work to make very nice.

The engine will be a stock block 20B with a single turbo conversion. Turbo options are a T67 or a T72. I want great response so the truck will be turn key streetable. I also have a TH350 built Automatic trans that will have to be fabbed to fit the wankel. Stall speed on the converter will need to be in the low 3K's.

I would like to get this project completed as sook as possible, but I don't see it getting completed for another 6 months. I have to get my first gen done and get some new apex seals in my wifes car before I can get started on this project...

Contact jfaplanet (aka Charles).

I believe he might have both of those items!

yeah, bob was going to take the goods out of it and sell it on ebay. I told him he could keep the engine and trans if he would sell the rest to me .

I remember Ivan did the same with a late 80's mazda pu. I think the truck was blue. Came out sweet.

Can't wait to see this old school truck when its done.

Well I am thinking a T67 to start off with. It should get full boost by 2800 or so. For drag racing, a 4-4200 Stall would be perfect, but Ithere are no intentions to drag it. It will be a turn key driver with a/c. That is the plan .

I may get silly with it by changing the stall speed and turbo later, but until that stock 20b breaks, it will have that torquey little T67.
