Default 1990 GTUs #3

I just got another 1990 GTUs making this one number 3!
I probably own the most GTUs out of anyone now!
Well someone hit this one so it needs a little bit of front suspension work but no frame damage.Somebody had a stroke while driving and hit this baby whit it was sitting! Little body work to do. No problem I just got another parts car to replace the damaged stuff with.
Plans for now is just to get it running so I can move it here and there, good thing it's still registered till AUG.Then stripp the interior of needless weight, there is no plan to make this a comfortabe car. This one used to have a aftermarker Sunroof but was replaced with another GTUs roof from M.C.'s 89 GTUs he decided to wrech while DUI!So the souls of one other GTUs lives on top as the Roof.
I'm imagining Large Flake Metallic Red interior paint with Black dash and Crystal white exterior. Easy for me since I do body and painting.
Spot welding the whole chassis right before paint.
Then Install a 6 pt roll cage bolted in(autopower) Painted white, this should give it good color contrast. I'll make more plans as the project rolls along.

Enjoy!

Pics right after it got hit!

At my place ready for work.

I wish I had more space, I moved out of my 2700 sq ft shop 2 years ago and I been hurting, 4 rx7's and my 63 lincoln, not to mention the 5 other cars my dad and I own, of course he gets all the parking and I squeese in 3 cars at home and 3 in storage.
I got some pictures of the damage on the GTUs, I am pleased to say it will be a easy fix for me. Kicked the door open today and the latch is only 1/4 in off and Phoniex7 and I will be picking up some parts on friday.

Here is the pictuires of the damage sustained from the Volvo hitting it on the Dr side, no frame just the top hat comming out and bending the shock.

Here I got the door panel off and got to the rods to open the door, a little kick and wala!

The inner jam/b pillar area is not bad at all, will i cut the vert one off and weld or will I just pull it with my stud welder and some hammer work?

The frame is nice and straight under that ugly fender.

The roof was off another 89 GTUs that a buddy crashed, this one was replaced with it because of an aftermarket sunroof. There a few inward dings and one large outwards ding, I will later show people how to metal work it and shrink the metal when it's a little more than PDR work. Also how to properly prepare bare metal before painting to avoid the rust comming back.

i am real happy to see that your saving a GTUs though. A lot of other people would probably just part it out.
