Exclamation in need of some serious clutch help

So I Baught a new clubch that is a stage 2 (what ever that means) it is rayed for 350 hp. Any way I pulled the tranny and old clutch replaced the fly wheel and bolted everything back up. I have bled the s#!+ out of the slave cylinder and the clutch engages when the pedal is about a half inc off the floor and slips? What could be the problem I have changed many clutches (not rx7) amdhave never had any problems!any thing will help

Did you unbolt the slave cylinder or remove the line to it? just curious why you had to bleed the system.

Assuming there is nothing wrong with your hydraulics my next question is, were all the replacement parts correct i.e. throwout bearing? May be a dumb question but in my experience the supplied throwout bearing isn't always the best part to use.

Clutch disk backwards? Missing throwout bearing? Assembly error?
