Default Introduction

I just want to introduce myself and Design Engineering Works. Design Engineering Works is a small part time company my friend Dan Dew created to provide performance car parts. We are an authorized Haltech dealer and will be offering parts for both the FD and FC as well a few other cars as we find time. You can get details on products and projects at www.DesignEngineeringWorks.com . Please note we are still working on the website and will be adding more information as we have time. Let me know if you have any questions at info@designengineeringworks.com.

Current projects are as follows

FD
V-Mounts and Radiator Packages
Toe Hooks
Bumper Cooling Panel for V-mounts and FMIC's
Ignition Coil Mounts
T2 Coil Mount
Turbo Oil Return and BOP

FC
Turbo Oil Return
Bumper Cooling Panel
V-Mount (eventually)

Thanks
Ryan Fritts

Do you have pictures of any of your products installed in the car? I took a quick look at the website, but didn't see anything. I'm really interested in more information about the coil relocation brackets.

It's good to see more RX-7 enthusiasts and shops popping up in Northeast IN---metro Detroit just aint cutting it any more. Are you guys actually located in Fort Wayne, or in Ossian? I'm familiar with both---have family in Fort Wayne and used to do a lot of business with Melching Machine in Ossian...I'd like to stop by the shop one of these days to check out some the parts you offer.

BTW...$100,000 for a V-mount setup is a little steep don't you think?

I actually worked for Melching Machines before going to college. We'll have some more pictures up soon with everything. We have been very slow and a lot going on outside this business lately. If your are in town just send us an email and we can show you what all we're working on.

I met Fritts once in Muncie at the dragstrip. Really great guy. If I ever need an aftermarket ECU, he'll be the guy I go to.
