IRP Polyurethane Motor Mounts
These will be polyurethane and incorporate the stock aluminum and steel arms (or you can use two of either) They will be the same height as the stock mounts so they won't raise the motor and cause fitment issues like some other mounts. There will be the main mount as well as a smaller disk to be placed under the subframe. There will be a metal insert through the main mount that the bolt will go through. This will not only prevent the bolt from wearing out the hole over time, but will also prevent over-tightening and compression on the mounts. They will be available in at least 2 different levels of firmness. I don't think anyone else on the market offers this. Grade 8 hardware will be used. I can make them in black or the orange shown. Price is yet to be set but will be close with the other mounts on the market. Here is a test fitting picture.

I have both 80A and 60A hardness mounts done. The 80A being stuffer, but should still transmit less vibration that others on the market.

I have decided to make the mounts using 2 steel arms from now on. Although the aluminum arms work fine, I think the steel look nicer.

Needing a new tow rig.

do these really mount to the mount arms? im probably gonna be in the market for some replacements this year and all the ones ilook at look like its just sandwiched in between the arm and the frame with the bolt holding it together. maybe you can explain or show me if im wrong?

The urethane pucks are sandwiched between the motor mount arms and subframe. They have a steel tube insert in the center which makes it a tight fit, but bolt can be put through by hand. There is no reason to hard mount the pucks to the arms. It will only transmit more vibration. Also, it would make it nearly impossible to change motor mounts with the engine in the car without dropping the subframe.

Unless there was a sudden price change, I believe my mounts are similarly priced. Where are you finding a pair of motor mounts for $125?

I only plan to sell complete mounts. I also guarantee that my mounts will cause less vibration than others. Also, no one else offers mounts in various hardness options to my knowledge.

I mean If you really wanted I could cut you a set of the pucks and you could put them together. I just feel better about assembling the entire thing.
