Default HELP!!! Save my 20B FC!!!!

The City of Lancaster says that any car sitting for 72 hours, without plates, extensively damaged or otherwise not street legal is a nuisance junk car, even if parked on private property. They have declared my prized FC such as of the 28th. Now I need to move it by the June 7th or face it getting impounded by the police and "disposed of".

Translation: They want to CRUSH my FC!!!:shocking::shocking::shocking::shocking::shoc king:

Lynn Hanover on nopistons has graciously offered me space at his shop to finish the project, but I'll be broke till the 11th.

I've figured that it'll be about $150 to get my car up to his shop.

If ANYONE can spare some money to help me save my car, I will be most appreciative, credit will be given in my build thread (The 12 Days of Rotormas on the rx7club) and special thanks will be mentioned when I start her up for the first time on camera. If anyone in the Columbus area has a truck and trailer and can help out, that would be even better

paypal is cd9asherwood@yahoo.com

thank you,
Travis Sherwood

definitely get temp tag. Or whip out a credit card. This seems like one of those moments where credit usage is completely understandable.

Can't you pop a tent over it and call it storage and no longer a nuisance as its not sitting out anymore

Thanks to a few generous souls on the RX7 Club and here whom have contributed, my car will be safely towed up to Lynn's shop in exchange for the cost of tags on his trailer. And to clear up any confusion before, I was asking for a loan untill the 11th, when I get paid next. A few fellow owners have offered up their own cash to help me out of a bind and I'm most grateful for all of the attention. It really shows how the community is willing to help out a newcomer to the 20b ranks. As a gesture of appreciation to all that have volunteered to assist me, I'm returning the favor by offering to find original build sheets and part numbers for any J-spec rotary car made since 1983, US-spec cars from 1977 onward and part numbers for pre-1977 rotaries too.

All details will be posted on the rx7club in my build thread "The 12 Days of Rotormas" and the project will continue.

And to answer the prevailing questions, you can't get a temp tag once the car has had plates on it (mine has). And putting it in a tent means I'd have to go buy one, $300 at harbor freight.
