Default RX-8 20B subframe

Does anyone know of any shop or people that make subframes for the RX-8 to install the 20B? I called up Alamo Rotary in Texas, but I couldn't get a hold of anybody. I came across their name on RX7 club and they were mentioned in the RX8 club and saw a video of their yellow RX-8. I know that there is an issue with the steering rack in the RX-8 when the 20B is swapped in, so I was wondering if anyone had any links or know anyone I could get in contact with to ask and learn for myself. Any help would be great.

There wont be any shop that will offer a subframe for a 20b/rx8.. Many shops just built there own. its mostly a hack job of the existing frame and custom motor mounts.

The best way to approach this is to change the steering rack to a custom manual rack it will def make the install much easier.....

If you have fab skills/tig welding.... you can do it.

If it all fails..
Chipsmotorsports can hook it up...

Thanks

my only advice here, if you're serious (and financially able) would be to contact Defined Autoworks and speak with Logan. he does impressive fabrication and knows his way around 20B conversions. his skills are almost unreal.

aside from that, get an Rx8Club account and contact the users rgonza and angeljoely. i'm sure they can share useful information (insights) that would Rx-8-specific.
