Mirage is on a distinguished road
Default FS: 1993 CYM R1 $17,000 Santa Clara, 95051 95,945 miles

It really breaks my heart to be selling this but the plan is to build a full on track FD so to expedite that process I should let this car go. In that light I am not looking for trades, nor offers, the price is firm as I really do not have to sell the car, I would like to have this go to someone who can enjoy it and care for it the same way I have.

The pictures and mostly complete mod list are available at this link: http://www.acm.jhu.edu/~asharma/myrx7

The good things that are not on that list:

Clean title, 95,945 miles as of today
Reman from Mazda with install paperwork, less than 15k miles on it
Delrin bushings all the way around (except diff bushings, but I have those in a box)
New front 4 control arms (less than 1k miles, installed with the new Delrin bushings)
Rebuilt trans about 5k miles ago by Rotorsport in Santa Clara
Full maintenance history from Rotorsport for the 2 yrs I've owned the car and from M2 from the previous owner
Shine auto carbon fiber plain weave diffuser, shown in attached picture
garage kept and loved for its whole life
I have misc extra stuff in a box that will go with the car like new front and rear brake pads
Car was August ROTM a few months ago...hopefully my next car will get the same honors when it's done

The bad things that aren't in those pics or on that list:

Drivers door has a "dent," more like a crease, from where my friend leaned on it
Passenger front fender has a nick
Passenger rear marker light has scratches on it
The 99spec lip is curled up at the edges, the result of a car being a wee bit too low
Original CYM paint...so it's fading most noticeable across both front fenders and the hood
Roll bar you see in first pic is gone
Passenger interior door handle is broken - but I have a replacement on the way!

I'll try to get pics of the bad stuff ASAP but I wanted to throw this up here before I did that.

Let me get a few things clear before the post is over, I'm not parting this, I'm not looking for trades, etc. PLEASE DO NOT ASK TO BUY THE WHEELS. If you want the wheels, then buy the car. Dibs will go to anyone who sends a deposit on the car.

I'm willing to meet people with the car 1hr-1.5 hrs from where I live (95051) if they are serious.

As I said I'll get pics of the bad stuff ASAP, the paint will be hard to show but I will try. Please let me know if you want pics of anything else I haven't mentioned.

I know, it's sad. I don't want to do it, but with it gone I can build a bad ass race FD sooner

I love it the way it is sooo much I don't want to hack it up. I want the track car to be widebodied, caged, etc etc

This car with a great driver will shame average drivers in 997 GT3s (ask me how I know) and still drive fine on the street! This thing still passes CA smog!!!!
