Default Bringing the RX-7 to the track this weekend, anyone else?

Taking the FB to the drags at PIR Saturday night and the ORPCA Autocross on Sunday. John will be there as well (Red 05 GTO). I know Josh will be at the Autocross. Anybody else?

I wish I had the money and I wish my car would pass a safety inspection.

Only $25 to run at PIR, $8 to watch. Why won't it pass Tech?

It's not so much the actual admission that's the problem. It's driving to Portland and back and paying the admission. College has me so ridiculously broke right now. It's a good thing I'm on good terms with my parents.

As far as passing tech, I need new tires (i.e. even more money) and they probably wouldn't let me in with the huge crack in my windshield, either.

It will happen, just need to get a summer job first.

Tires nor windshield are disqualifiers. If you're slower then 13.99 they only check battery hold down, leaks, seatbelt, and seat.

I hear you on the drive/race/back and gas prices though!

Really? Interesting. Regardless, it would be kinda pointless to try to race with these tires, but at least now I know that when I replace them I can give it a shot.

What do they check if you're in the 13-second range (which I might be once I get my turbo installed)?

Helmet (Snell 2000 or 2005), driveshaft loop if your on slicks/DR's, more comprehensive on leaks/drips.

Nice shot!!!!

Did you see the results yet? We did pretty good! That course was AWESOME!

I have video of John in the GTO and a video of your first whole run.

I also went for a ride with James Paulson (the White STI). It was like being in a one minute long car crash...
