I agree 2k is alot, but I will make sure that the kit will give everyone their moneys worth. I saw rotary works has a vmic for the fc for under 1400. Nice kit for the price.
I can only say mine will be different. Ben

1 to 2 months from when I get the car.
I will try to have 3 kits like I do for the FD one for stock turbo to support a good 300 one to support to around 450 and one where you will need 500 plus to use the ic core efficiently I already know it will be cheaper then the FD kit because the FC will not need those big ss tow hooks, those alone are 200+ (my cost) I need to look into getting them laser cut instead of cnc machined. I want the customer to be able to have a kit that will best fit their application. Everything will be included in my kit, you will not have to buy anything extra. It will have a different set-up then Rotary Works. I do like their kit, its good for the price. They are able to keep cost down because they have a in house cnc, and all the tools needed for cutting and welding metals. They have great deals on everything. I give credit where credit is due. They are a fantastic addition to the rotary community. I hear they will be making fd vnounts too. I am curious to see them. My cost on my kits are high because I have to pay people to make stuff to my spec, also I use already proven name brand products. But, If you can make your own stuff and pass the savings onto the customer, then why not. I am in the business to make money, but what is more important to me is having a nice quality product for a fair price and providing after market support for our beloved RX7's. LOL, I hope I answered your question. Ben

Would you also be offering a "brackets" only kit? The reason I ask is simply because my setup will not be the normal turbo location due to RE block, custom manifold and turbo -
Although not sure I'm going vmount yet, its nice to see what options there would be.. not to mention, all these replies keep your thread towards the top |

Hey guys. If anyone is looking for a brackets only kit, there will be now way I can beat the rotary works fc vmount bracket kit as far as price. I have to pay other people to make my stuff so I have to cover alot of cost. They make their own stuff and they have vmount bracket kit for around 200. Super cheap if you ask me, very good deal.
But will I have one, I do not know. I may end up having to have part of the bracketry welded to the radiator and intercooler. As far as turbo and manifold, I can seel the complete vmount kit with just 90 degree elbow welded on and you guys (the customers ) can take it from there to make it go where you need to go. Ben

To let you guys know, I have completed the rad/ac/oil cooler brackets/set-up.
I am currently working on the IC' now for all 3 kits. I am using garrett bar and plate cores. Here are some pics that I will release that shows enough but still keeps it descret. In one photo you can see that the oil cooler has its own fresh air source. Here are the final chosen cores. Small: good for 280 to 300 whp (stock turbo all bolt on's with higher boost.) Medium/Track mount: good for 525 whp all day long. The core is Monster / drag: This core suports 700whp and even though the front goes underneath the rad support, you MUST KEEP IN MIND that the FC is a bottom feeder and when the bumper is on you can see that the Monster vmount still gets fresh ait to all the cores. I feel ok with these photos because it hides most of the bracketry. There is a updated thread on the RX7 club Ben

All 3 FC vmounts are done. I will be opening a GB hopefully this weekend with all the details and some decent photos of the finished kits.
This will all be on my site as well. Ben
