I think there might be a misunderstanding because I have not heard about a rotary watch until now.

He bought FD Zippo lighter from us, so he might have meant rotary lighter.

Brian, could you chime in here and explain what's going on?

I can look into it if you are really interested in such product. There might be some shops in Japan has such product, you never know what's out there.

is it simply a band with with a rotor case on it?

it says the rotor is the second hand, does it only tell you second increments? i dont see an hour or minute.
