Possible Weber float height problem...?
I rebuilt and turbo prepped my 51 IDA Weber and attempted to start it. It did not feed any fuel. I am assuming at this point that it is my float setting.
Here's my current tune on my street ported 12a: *Will eventually go blow through turbo 37mm chokes 3.2 Glass ball needle valve 60f10 idle jet 120 idle holder 195 main 150 air corrector f-3 turbo e-tube My question is, can I set my float height without removing the Weber? The way I set the height before involved hanging it upside down.

yes, you can set the float with the carb installed. there is a small hole in the top of the carb right above the float, use a small piece of safety wire or a paper clip to measure the height and adjust accordingly.. or they sell a IDA float measuring tool that's pretty trick

I got it somewhat figured out now. The car starts up just fine. And I ordered one of those float height sight things from JayCee yesterday. That will help get the float height dialed in.
But the car is so damn rich, it idles for at least 30 seconds after I shut the pump off. Lol... Any tips in a better starting point? 12a street port turbo 51mm IDA Weber Black plastic float 37mm chokes 3.2 Glass ball needle valve 60f10 idle jet 120 idle holder 195 main 150 air corrector f-3 turbo e-tube

12a street port. As soon as it's running good NA, it's going blow-through turbo. I already prepped the Weber and made a plenum. But I want to make sure it's running clean NA before I tackle the blow-through tuning.

Do you have fuel pressure regulator? I didn't have one on my DCO for years because I read that with the Carter fuel pump a weber shouldn't ever need one! That was here:
http://www.racetep.com/webfuelspark.html Well after years of battling fuel dripping into the throat of my carb I finally put in a nice Holley FPR and set it down to 4psi. Wouldn't you know it, the dripping stopped and nearly all the problems I had been battling since I put the weber in were solved.
