Hellbent, I thought you hated the RX-8!?

I like it. Manual? Can't say I'm a fan of adobe seats, but the RX-8's interior in general is really nice. Are all 40AE's that color? I'm looking forward to seeing the '09 models, especially the R3. The 4.777 gear coupled with the 6 speed trans should make it a really fun car to drive.

yeah its a manual. I'm not sure if all the 40ae's for the united states were this color or not, I know there was a white with white/black interior but I only saw it online as uk and japan releases so not sure if it was released along with the grey/red one or not for the us market.

There was one just like it in the showroom at Nelson Mazda when I bought my Mazda3. But it had gunmetal wheels.

I was SO tempted. But I have the FC for fun, I was shopping for a DD.

Very nice RX-8!!!

the 8 is my daily. With a full extended warranty that covers my wheels/tires, free tuneups every 3 months, etc its not a bad deal, course the gas milage could stand to be a little better for a daily but I guess you can't have it all.

^I daily my 8 as well. That is the only complaint I have about my car as well. Damn gas mileage is killer, but I'd rather sacrifice the gas mileage to have a fun car to drive every day.

All the 40th in the US are that color. At the dealership where we hold our local meets they just had 5 more come in last week. They've sold quite a few of them.

I like the seats, very adjustable and comfy. Forgot to add that two of the ones that got in had the appearance package on them which looks nice.

I paid right at about 32k, from what I was told they (should) only run a couple hundred more than the GT, someone on another forum took some pictures (think it was cali maybe) of one at a dealership there and they had the sticker on it at 42k which is huge mark up or just run higher in cali or something. Only difference between it and mine was it had fender strakes (which I'm not a huge fan off anyway)
