Formula 1
I know the next race isn't until this weekend, but I've got to say that I am extremely impressed with BMW's efforts this year so far. I wasn't expecting them to be as much competition as they are so far, I would really love to see them stay up with the front runners this year, and I'd love to see Mercedes come back up front as well - having three people in dead heat competition for last years season ending was amazing.

I'm all for anyone, but Ferrari. Mercedes/McClaren is my first choice, Renault as 2nd, and BMW as third. Honda and Toyota just aren't as competitive as they should be, given their racing heritages and the Japanese desire to be the standard.

I only like Merc/Mc. because of Hamilton. BMW is probably my favorite Manufacturer. I really don't have anything against Ferrari, I just don't really like their drivers.

I'm all Ferrari all the way back to the Gilles Villeneuve days. I survived the years when they were crap and couldn't finish a race.
The current driver line up seems to be working, Kimi needs to work on his personality a little. I did see a show that focused on him and he seems to have a funny side, he just hides it well... One thing to remember, they are the only team that builds both the engine and chassis and thats probably why I stick with them.

The one thing that peeves me about F1 is the cost of the merchandise. I'd like to support the sport, but damn the cost of a mere tshirt: $30-50 at current exchange rates.

Formula 1 is cool and all, but it gets pretty boring. There needs to be about 2x the cars and 18x the passing.
However, I respect the engineering and drivers skills. The aerodynamics on those cars are fucking ridiculous. It's about time for some revolutionary breakthrough in aerodynamics.

Number of cars is fine, but more passing is definitely a plus.
Actually, if they keep promoting aerodynamics, there'll be less passing, since the ratio of aero grip vs. mechanical grip is directly proportional to the number of passing ops. Aero grip works best in clean air, and not so good in dirty air (i.e. following someone). DOES ANYONE WANT TO AND IS ABLE TO GO TO F1 CANADA THIS YEAR??? |

It's definately going to be an interesting season this year. The driver's points spread between 1st and 3rd is 7 at the moment.

I never liked Ferrari but Kimi Raikkonen has been my favorite driver since about 2003 when he was with McLaren, so even though I still don't like Ferrari much I would like for the Finn to remain champion.

I was a big Schumacher fan just because of his talent. Massa is probably my favorite driver now, but I'm not particularly fond of Ferrari winning all the time either. After last year's whole thing with Mercedes stealing Ferrari's information, I don't particularly want them to win either. BMW is third on this list, and with the way things are going, they may actually stand somewhat of a good chance so long as they continue to be consistent.

After Hamilton knocked himself out of the race I had to turn it off. Such a boneheaded mistake.

Kubiza rocks. I like him mostly because my name is also Robert.

I had to turn it off as well... but because I had to go to work. Judging by where Massa finished, he made a decent little come back.
