actually i do have a question, mostly regarding the OER carb. For use with a super charger as a draw through, there is no need for boost prepping is there?
I have been thinking about the turbo carb thing since i am moving to a high altitude but the costs of turbo stuff makes me hesitant on doing it. And EFI would be down right pricey since i wouldn't do my Megasquirt with it (at this time) I wouldn't mind getting your thoughts on this since you have extensive carb experience.

also, i can supply you with some larger air bleed jets and some smaller main jets to fine tune at high altitude.

hmm...well I have a Nikki carb on the car that Peejay that tinkered with. But once i get to Colorado, i was either going to finish my fuel injection setup (i have an MS unit, just need a throttle body and some misc. crap) or get a better side draft carb since i have a side draft manifold laying around. But just running another carb would be pretty easy. I would need another FPR since i dont like the one i have.
im kinda rambling, but i frankly dont know which route to take. I have alot of EFI experience and functionally NO carb experience...

well i am to get rid of the nikki regardless.
i also see you see EFI throttle bodies. What do you have DCOE style wise? Pricing? You can make this a separate thread if you want.

the sidedraft throttle bodies i sell are very high quality units , and quite pricey(in the $700.00 range)the units i sell use the cast fuel rail mounts unlike the competitors( the thin sheet metal fuel rail mounts have been known to flex enough to let one end of an injector pop out causing an engine fire) the throttle bodies i carry are available in 48,50 and 55mm all sidedraft units come with 2 injector pockets, fuel rail, velocity stacks

how would that price compare to an OER?

i dont understand. you cant really compare the two.
with a carb, you buy it your done. with efi, you need an ecu, a bunch of sensors, a throttle body, injectors and lots of tuning.. as far as bang for the buck, the carb wins hands down

hmm...well between now, and when i get a job lined up in Colorado, ill have to make a choice on which route i want to go....
carb wise, ill be hitting you up for sure. If i go EFI, i might still be needing some things, especially this T5 adapter. But TMW has a DCOE TB for 320 dollars that is about a 50 or so i believe.

keep in mind, twm sells all pieces separatly, meaning you have to buy the throttle body, fuel rail, hardware kit ,velocity stacks, and tps individually
