New to this forum, but not new to rotary cars!
Hello All!
I am an active member on RX7Club but have also used this site several times for help and research. So I figured I should join as it never hurts to find more like minded people to talk to I got my first rotary car when I was 23, a 1999 FD with a HKS bodykit and a stock motor. I have to admit, back then I had no idea what I had bought and really just wanted a cool car. Due to relocation with work I had to sell it after three years of ownership, but in that time I had been both spanked by an unplanned engine rebuild and totally hooked by the rotary motor! In my late 20's I got a 1983 RX7 GS and learnt a lot of skills mechanically as I turned it into a like new specimen. However, as much as I loved that car, I just couldn't shake my need for more power and my crazy obsession with JDM modified vehicles. Now in my mid thirties I have the financial means to start making owning a crazy modified FD a reality. If i can work out how to upload pictures, I will share my build with you all! Thanks, Tom |
