Default About the T5 adapter.

The T5 adapter is only good for the Ford splines im guessing, but the options i have found for the T5 make interested in the GM transmissions. Namely what i can get with my choice of gearing. I want to get as close as possible to the Mazda Comp. transmission ratios, which Richmond sells for the Super T10. But it looks to be only the GM 1-1/8" 26 spline. Do you know how different the GM transmission is? I might need to discuss in another thread about gear choices because there are some T5 options that may or may not work, since they are using 5th gear as 1:1 and sadly, are more money...

as per the listing

Could someone please point me to a thread where this product was discussed or post a product link? I have all kinds of questions. Which transmissions, gearing, which clutches will work, is it track legal, etc. Thanks!

you can get a wide combo of gear ratios for a t5 tranny, you can even make it a clutchless unit if you want. the clutch would be a mazda pressure plate with a custom clutch disk that has the t5 input splines. as far as it being track legal, what type of racing do you do? what is the sanctioning body?
