Talking Results from today's autocross, season ender, the 7's DOMINATE!!

'NP' Total Entries: 31
1T 197 Jared Still 1993 Mazda RX-7 36.026 - -
2T 717 Josh McCall 1987 Mazda RX7 36.556 0.530 0.530
3T 156 Don Clinkinbeard 2007 Lotus Elise 36.611 0.055 0.585

Top 2 times in Non-Porsche class are two RX-7's! FTD NP goes to Jared's black FD with a lightning-quick 36.026 with Josh's LS1 FC hitting a 36.556 just nudging out an Elise on slicks. Josh had Jared's number all day beating him by a few tenths every round until the final when Jared just pulled an amazingly perfect run out!

Adam co-drove Josh's car to keep the tires hot and was rewarded with 7th in NP.

7 1717 Adam Griffith 1987 Mazda RX-7 37.637 0.120 1.611

And even Blinky the 231,850 mile FB and I did alright. I nabbed 14th out of 25 in NP, not bad!

14 15 Michael Pinto 1984 Mazda RX-7 39.531 0.007 3.505

Jared ended up 5th overall, Josh got 11th, Adam got 20th, and I got 39th out of 57 total drivers.

After further review, this is my best finish overall in a Porsche Club event (any event actually) and my best in-class finish by % (I did have a 10th last month, but out of less cars).

Also Josh had the fastest STREET-DRIVEN car there! Everything that beat him came in on a trailer! How's that! Granted Jared could actually drive his on the street, but only one of the 3 914 race cars is even street-legal and only the GT3 has actually seen a street (legally) in the last year. Way to go guys!

The 944 is on Hoosier A6's and has a turbo And you have to realize that it's only 6-7 cars that beat you, they just all have dual-drivers.

We have pics from all season, I'll make a little thread I guess (later). I have some homework to catch up on and a few RCCD articles to finish up and submit.

Good job guys. Josh thank you for letting me drive your car, hope you learned something. Your car is a beast, a few things here and there and you'll be challenging the 914 race cars.

Look out for me next season.

Congrats!
I spent the day autoxing as well. Brought home 2nd in CSP, with a car that was running totally crappy. But, on the upside, I got to ride shotgun in a new GTR. Instructor perk....
