Default FD Auto to 5 Speed Swap Wire Harness Usage

Hope someone could put some light on the subject of doing A swap on FD 1994 RX-7 Wire Harness Needs. Currently preforming An auto to manual swap, Just A little confused on what is the same between wire harness parts in the auto. And which assemblies in the harness need upgradeing.
Such A I know the engine harness needs A swap. And dash harness as well with battery harness. But what about the body harness to the rear of the car is this all the same in AT and MT cars?
Which brings up all the air bags harness is this a harness all to itself?
Just trying to see what I need to get on hand electrical before I start the swap. As I would like to keep it all working like cruse.
And also can the right hand drive imported harness be used if you relocate the connectors. If they are pined the same as the left hand harness. Thanks. Richard

i've done a few auto-5spd FD swaps. as for wiring, the only thing i did was swap over the speedo sensor in the transmission because of length of pigtail on it. and there was a little black box that sat behind the computer I removed (with keeping the box, car ran fine, just would back fire nearly every time i turned it off) other than that, i used the auto-engine harness and auto computer. the portion of the harness for the that went to the auto trans i just zip tied up out of the way.

if you are set on using the manual engine harness, then you will need to play with the X-14 connector that goes between the Dash harness and the engine harness, since the auto X-14 is a bit larger. this harness is located up in the dash just near where the the engine harness comes through the firewall on the passenger side.

i did do the swaps a few yrs back and that's what i remember about differences. if you want, you can PM me and i can share my experiences or ask me here if you want. I also do have the mazda wiring diagrams that show the harnese and connectors so you can compare the auto and manual stuff, if you want to PM me your email.

When i bought my car the previous owner had swapped in a 5-speed JDM engine into a USDM auto car when they swapped they kept the engine harness that came with the motorset. then got freaked out with the wiring. So when i bought it i had to figure out the harnesses to make them work together. If it were me i would keep the auto harnedd it's much easier!
