WHiV4 is a no charge event for rotary vehicles and their owners. We are trying to make your experience worth the trip and keep the costs reasonable.

Friday and Saturday Rates will be: $85.00 per day and weekday rates at $38.00 per day for those who want to come early or stay late. There is also a room tax of 12% and a Resort fee of $5.00 so those that wish to stay/arrive a day early/late will pay $247.96. There are suites and penthouse suites available at this time with a reduced rate so if you wish to upgrade contact me for pricing. Since the room rate is based upon double occupancy, you have your choice of a king size bed or two queen size beds. For those participants whose significant others do not participate in the parties and cruises, there is free shuttle transportation from the Orleans to most spots on the strip. Saturday evening to the Hofbrau House transportation will be provided from the Orleans and back again by the Orleans shuttle service.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations made on line to orleans casino groups
must use the reservation ID of ODESCO5 Not using the ID will cause confusion, mischarging or being told that the Hotel is sold out.
Reservations made by phone to (800) 675-3267 must use the group name of "DESERT BOILERS" not using this group name may not get the special rate or be told that the Hotel is sold out

FRIDAY MAY 20TH

MEET & GREET
from 3pm until 8pm

Meet and Greet in the west parking lot of the Orleans Event Center. You must check in here to be elgible for the Rotary Show and to receive your WHiV4 douments. Swag will be on sale at the table as will raffle tickets. Cut off for the Rotary Show entry will be 7pm
(area subject to change due to event center booking).

ROTARY SHOW

Starts at 4pm until 7:30pm
Event area subject to change due to rental of the Orleans Event Center
This year a rotary show will be held in the parking area adjacent to the Meet & Greet. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7s and 8s will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into fist, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number. All rotary cars will be eligible for trophies. Cut off for the judging will be 7:30pm

PARTY AT THE ORLEANS

Starts at 8pm until 12 midnight
The party will be in the Presidential Penthouse Suite and will be BYOB on libations with chips and dips supplied by WHiV4. The Orleans has a liquor store on site for any libation you could desire. Please be advised that you will be required to wear the ID that was issued at the Meet & Greet area

SATURDAY MAY 21

ANNUAL CRUISE
(location to be named)

NO HOST LUNCH AT THE ORLEANS
buffet

RAFFLE FOR GOODIES
(during & after lunch)

TRADITIONAL GET TOGETHER AT THE HOFFBRAU HOUSE
8pm until 11pm:

A No Host Dinner is served and prices range from $10.00 and up for traditional German faire and the beer flows at all times. A German band plays and the noise, laughing and crying from the group almost drowns out the band. If you remember in years past, parking is a problem at the Hoffbrau House so this year there will be two easy alternative ways offered to get to the Hoffbrau House. A free shuttle service will be offered by the Orleans to and from the location (tip extra). Again this year there will be Limo Service available from the Orleans to the Hoffbrau house and back again. The limo service .... details upon request

SUNDAY MAY 22

SCENIC CRUISE
10am until 12 noon:

We will have a short cruise to Red Rock and it will take less than 30 minutes to get there and there is a paved, 13 mile, one-way scenic drive (open from dawn to dusk), within the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area boundaries. There is a fee for using this road of less than $10.00 (should be $7.00 but you know the park service). Very Scenic, very twisty and a good place to say good by to Las Vegas. The end of the loop is within 5 miles of the express way in case you are leaving after the cruise

PARKING
Orleans is providing an area that will be watched very closely in the West Parking Garage. We will be parking in the area where the executives of the Hotel park. It is well patrolled and the cameras do work. Security is planning on having a foot patrol thru the parking area along with random vehicle patrols.

In the coming weeks we will update the art work and post some additional information on the meet.
Swag will be available after the first of the year as soon as the new graphic design is ready.

Son of a...I MIGHT be able to make this, but I'm supposed to be going on a cruise in May at some point. And right before this we're trying to go to DGRR, so we'll see. I'd love to make this next year though since I had to miss it this year.

well I'll keep this updated as I know most of the EastCoasters have their sights set on DGRR

The new WHiV artwork should reach final approval later this week then off to the silk screeners. The has been concern expressed that the biggest text is Vegas 8's trust me this is not an 8 event but open to all rotories As last year there will a bunch of great raffle prizes as well as giveaways for our guests who make the quest.

There are a few of us locally that are eye balling the tri-fecta this year with a stop with our East Coast brothers and sisters for DGRR (with a possiable stop at The Mitty) to follow the next month with WHiV4 then SS14

sounds great, not the deployment part, this year will be the first of the "car show" so we'll need to get a list going soon of who and what is coming so we can order the trophys. The Penthouse for the Friday night get together after the car show is already taken care off

time is ticking on booking rooms at the Orleans at the group rate, this is another way to register for the event

We will be ordering the trophies soon and the classes will be determined by registrations, mind you the "car show" is open to everyone heck my car is only special because it's mine lol so don't hesitate!!
