I have an endless list of fabrication work that has gone into this but most recently getting the radiator and intercooler done it can't get any better than this radiator fitment

Made a turbo manifold for my brothers FD.
Short runners, SS pipe, CS flange.
Welded with a Hobart ez Tig.
First time Tig welding a manifold.

Working on the first runner.

Working on it. Bolted to flanges and another manifold to help with distortion.

Pretty much finished, want to do a little bit more to it though.

How its gonna go on the engine.

If you hook-up with a solid machine, it'll last a while under almost extreme conditions.

Gotta love the IGBT tech that allows the boxes to be built so small / portable.
I see that even Miller has gone that route with a new line welders.

I know this thread doesn't get a lot of traffic, but I also have an Everlast PowerPro 256S and have had a good experience with it.

My foot pedal died within a year, and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. I would also recommend ditching the factory torch and getting a quality one immediately. Something like a CK unit.

Calling this "fabrication" is a bit of a stretch, but if anyone is building up a rotary and is lacking the spendy tool needed to measure step wear on the plates, this little bracket thingy I made and a standard dial indicator will do the job rather well. All this is is a chunk of solid AL bar stock and an AL right angle piece bolted to it, that I bolted the dial indicator to. Pictures describe it better than words...

This is my solution to using a REW rear plate with a RE front and intermediate. What do you think? I'll be surprised if the oil pan doesn't leak. I'm a master welder if you couldn't tell.
