Default Where to get "Bosch" relays?

I've exhausted my stash of Bosch SPDT / SPST 30A 12VDC relays, and looking for find a good alternate source for them.
It looks like Bosch sold their relay production sections to TE Connectivity or Tyco Electronics recently.
Is the Tyco stuff up to par with the old Bosch stuff?

My go-to online supplier has been Parts Express.
Their Bosch replacement is a Tyco product that's downrated to 20A / 30A rating, where the old Bosch ones were 30A / 40A?
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=330-070
I've got to wire in a pair of high current fans, and the 20A rating is right on the border in terms of current draw.
I'll probably grab a bunch of NTE 50A rated relays for that purpose, but that's getting off the subject.

I still do a lot of automotive electronics wiring stuffs, so I like to keep a good supply on hand.
Man, I used to grab those old Bosch units at under $3 / each from Parts Express, but the new Tyco units are just about double that.
I checked DigiKey and pricing is just about the same.
I don't want to deal with the crap Made-in-China / Taiwan stuff, as I've ran into too many bad units to want to save a dollar or two per unit and the headaches.

Guess this is just inflation and the costs of doing business nowadays...
*sigh*

They have 30/50A. Also have some a 70A in the standard size but has much bigger terminals.

Thanx for the suggestion.
Ah, Del City...
Used to order a lot of wire through them...

Del City's description does not mention manufacturer or country of origin.
Wish the product zoom pics were a little better to make out the label easier, but it looks like the off-shore, Asian, off-brand stuff.
Parts Express pricing is close, and at least Parts Express tells you where the units are coming from.

Parts Express (pricing per unit, additional discount for bulk)
"Bosch type" 12VDC 30A / 40A $2.09
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=330-073
Tyco (formerly Bosch) 12VDC 20A / 30A $4.49
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=330-070
NTE 12VDC 50A $7.25
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=075-138
NTE 12VDC 70A $7.88
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=075-140

Del City
"Change Over Relay" 12V 30A / 50A $3.08 (pricing per unit, price break @ 100+ units)
http://www.delcity.net/store/Relay-!...et/p_73576.a_1
"Relay Kit" 12V 70A (includes 2x 0.250" + 2x 0.375" connectors) $5.98
http://www.delcity.net/store/Normall...y/p_791796.a_1

Checking eBay, the prices are in the ball park.
Off-shore, Asian, off-brand stuff starts at around $2 per unit.
Tyco 20A / 30A units are around $5 per unit.

Thanks Ted. I was stranded two weeks ago, because a mfer relay. Its really my bad, for not placing the relay in a proper location, rather than leaving it where it gets wet.

I will be trying the Tyco ones, thanks for the link!

I just order a couple NTE 50A ones from Parts Express and was disappointed that they had *CHINA* stamped on the case...
I'd wish vendors would explicitly state where their products are from.
I'd assume it'll be USA made, since NTE is a U.S. company?

Hey djmtsu, I haven't checked those old Bosch ones yet, since they are buried in the car, and the car is currently down now.
I have to dig them up soon so hopefully get those #'s for you soon...

Ted- can you give me an OE application number for these?

I might possibly be able to get some.

Hello, just wanted to let you know that our company, Chief Enterprises, has a strong partnership with Bosch as the exclusive North American distributor of Bosch Connectors. We are an important North American distributor of heavy duty components to the automotive and transportation markets and as such we have always carried Bosch style relays (which are now manufactured and supplied by TE Connectivity) as they purchased this division from Bosch some time ago.

Our online catalog has rich functionality for examining and cross-referencing & comparing different components, and our web-store stocks many of our products, including relays. Despite our size we are a family-like organization, on point, personal, and are willing you help and connect with you all.

So, if you are looking for a place to buy Bosch relays or other components, please give us your consideration. http://www.chiefenterprises.com
Please don't flame for the blatant self promotion on a message board; you will never get spam from us. Just trying to let you know that we can help get you what you're looking for :-)

Bringing this back from the dead. Have you tried Waytek? They have 19 different Bosch-Tyco relays listed. Rated between 20 and 50 amps on the NO side in the mini configuration.

I'm pretty sure they are all Tyco now unless they are sitting on NOS or something...
All the other normal places I checked all switched over the "Tyco" labeling.

So...

I went with Hella relays from rallylights, solely because I purchased the hella relay box and didnt feel like making a second order from somewhere else.

Freaking hella relays are made in china, and to make things worse, I never got to use the hella relay box, so now its sitting on the bench.
